Bob’s Granddad, Floyd Tuthill opened up his pool room in Falls Church VA in the early years of the Great Depression. He owned and operated his Pool Room for about 40 years. During that time Bob Sr. was born, he helped his father with the business from his youth then when Bob Jr. came along it was only natural that he would also assist his Grandfather and Dad with the business.

 

Bob Sr. chose to follow a career in Law Enforcement but was always available to help his father whenever he could. He’s since retired and spends a lot of time with his wife of many years, Marge, as well as fills in at the pool room whenever he’s needed! Living just minutes from the pool room makes it easy and convenient, a good reason for him to get out of the house also!

 

Bob Jr. was born in the early 1960’s in Arlington VA and was raised in the Northern Virginia area. He graduated from George Mason High then went on to pursue his love for baseball and played in the minor leagues for the Pittsburg Pirates Organization for a short time. Over the next few years Bob worked other various jobs. Bob Senior decided it was time to open up his own billiard business following in the foot steps of his father and again the Tuthill men became full time “Billiard Boys”!

 

When Bob was a child the family would spend a lot of time at his Granddad’s weekend home located in the Shenandoah Valley VA and that is how the entire family wound up moving to the Shenandoah Valley.

 

Bob met his  wife Pam in the late 80’s and they married in 1991. Happily married now for over 20 years.He and and Pam enjoy spending time with their son Travis and his wife Melissa their grandson, Kole, (the future manager of the billiard business) and last but certainly not least the newest addition to the Family a granddaughter Kali. 

 

His Granddad Tuthill would be proud of his success in the industry!
